Just about every blank wall in town has a mural of some type showing the town history. The town was once a booming logging area and has re-invented itself to become a busy tourist stop. We were early enough to get some photos without "tourists" encroaching into our scene. By 10:00 the streets are covered in people.
Love the Murals. They can add so much to a town. Saw a few in St. Jovite. Great use of space and mirror of era gone by.
ReplyDeleteBelair is my fav of those shown. Reminds me of my dads string of Impallas.Always loved fins.
Talk about history in some the murals - just awsome. Glad to hear you are having a great time. Weather here crappy - you're not missig much and it a jean & jacket day so far. Take care and see you in the fall.

Historical murals are beautiful, good to see no graffiti on them,
